Accepted insurance
Briarpatch Pediatrics accepts most commercial insurance plans, and select public plans. Some of the most commonly accepted plans include:
- Cigna
- Aetna
- Tricare
- Unicare
- Harvard Pilgrim
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- WellSense Boston Children's ACO
Selecting the correct Medicaid plan
The only MassHealth plan accepted by Briarpatch Pediatrics is the WellSense Boston Children’s ACO (CHILD ACO). Patients on MassHealth need to be registered under this plan.
Parents planning to put their newborns on MassHealth must reach out to the insurance company by the child's second week, as the baby must be on an active insurance plan by thirty days old.
